PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Dear School Community,

We are leaving another exciting and challenging year behind with many school-wide and intercampus activities and competitions, as well as fundraising events. We concluded the academic year with our Award Ceremony. This was the first time we have held this event outside our school setting. It proved to be a real success because we celebrated with our families at a sit-down meal. I congratulate our students’ successes and hard work.

For this semester, our concert was definitely one of the highlights on our school calendar. The students made us very proud to see them perform their best in such an exciting manner in order to entertain us.

Another highlight was the Iftar Dinner which included the recitation of Quran, Nasheed (songs), students’ performances with 184 people in attendance. The Colour Fun Run and Athletics Day both added to the excitement of this term.

I wish our graduating grade six students all the best. I hope that they will continue developing themselves by becoming life-long learners and responsible citizens.

I encourage our pupils to spend the summer holidays with lots of exciting activities such as cycling, sightseeing, playing outdoor activities, reading books and using online resources e.g. Mathletics, Reading Eggs and code.org

Finally, I would like to use this wonderful opportunity to thank my staff for working together as a team, and for taking this school to new heights and overcoming the many challenges throughout this year. A special thanks to Mr. Sinan and Mrs. Moran for the publication of twelve newsletters for 2017.

I wish you all a Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing you in 2018.

Note: The office will resume on January 15th, 2018 to assist parents with purchasing school uniforms, stationery and other enquires.

Happy Holidays!

Mr. Adem Engin
Principal
